I recently saw an instructional video by Neville Page in which he demonstrates how to create creatures and characters out of random marks and shapes. Though i did not approach this piece with the intention of trying out his technique, I definitely appreciate how using the random marks your hand makes can sometimes result in interesing design choices. I would have never painted something like this had i not seen some sort of face in a random scribble i made.
